The Need For Clear Answers

How many times do you wish you had the right answers? You know, when you're an artist, when you're a creator, when you're a designer, and you're trying to think about, okay, I'm going to start this process, but I want to go to actual market my products. And so, you know, you have a lot of issues and concerns. And I think the first thing you start off with is what is it that you're trying to make? Why are you trying to make it? And how good can you make it? So you start out with those basic principles. Then you go to, okay, I've actually made a bunch of uh designs and artwork, and I've got five, seven pieces. So you've already created them, you've got five, seven pieces. And what are the next steps? You know, what are the next steps? What do I have to worry about? Well, uh, am I on social media? Do I have some kind of presence? Okay, so I could broadcast uh some of my work on these systems, on these platforms, and get some help and get some interest and get uh start generating energy. And then it comes down to what kind of budget do I actually have to be able to go to market? Uh, do I need to be on an Amazon platform? Do I want to go on Etsy? Do I want to go on ArtFinder? Do I want to go on uh, you know, there's so many different systems and so many different platforms you can use. So you think about you start thinking about that. Um, websites might come later into the picture, but you know, getting prepared, getting ready, and making sure that everything is really done well. Uh, and then brochures and pamphlets and and uh you know little placement cards and business cards and so forth come into play, and you'll have to think about that a little bit. But start thinking about you know the process of what else should I be thinking? Because I think I should do maybe five or six local community uh shows. And that's a great place to start, a great place to start thinking about things, to stack all your ideas up, to put a plan in place to be able to bring things together and then be able to focus on showcasing your artwork and your paintings and your pieces, and then connecting with the community and the people, and then start actually selling your product. Get the interest built and then start selling your product. And I hope this helps.
